My journey into the world of technology and design began during the 5th year of secondary school when my initial plans of attending Glasgow Art School fell through. This unforeseen turn led me to discover my passion for coding and delve into the ever-evolving tech landscape.

Choosing a path aligned with both my artistic and technical interests, I enrolled in Interactive Media Design at college. After successfully completing the program and achieving an A in my graded unit, I progressed to Edinburgh Napier University, graduating in 2017 with a 2:1 BSc (Hons) degree, equipped with a profound enthusiasm to forge a career in the digital realm.

My first role at reflexblue provided invaluable experience, collaborating with well-known companies on diverse projects such as building HTML5 emails and directing and producing promotional videos for clients like Taylor Wimpey. This role allowed me to explore graphic design, marketing and reinforced my love for website development.

In 2019, I left Scotland for a year-long journey across Australia and upon my return in 2020, I transitioned into the field of Digital Marketing at Pacitti Jones, specialising in social media management, website design and development, photo editing, and graphic design.

I then progressed to digital marketing executive and team leader for nearly two years at global tech company Version 1. This experience further refined my skills and prepared me for the position of Head of Digital Marketing at Scotsman Group in October of 2022.

Following a career break, I focused on relocating to Edinburgh and upskilling in UX Design, I currently serve as a Digital Marketing Specialist for a leading branded merchandise company. In this role, I contribute to various facets of design, branding, marketing, and social media.

My journey has been marked by continuous learning, professional growth, and a commitment to leveraging technology to create impactful digital experiences. I look forward to new challenges and opportunities that allow me to blend creativity with technology in meaningful ways.
